Some Step by Step Guide
- Start with a Clean Manuscript Ensure your book is fully edited and proofread. Remove extra spacing, track changes, and comments before submitting. Save your final manuscript in Microsoft Word or google doc format.
- Know Your Book Size Common book sizes include: 5” × 8” (handy paperback) 5.5” × 8.5” (standard trade size) 6” × 9” (professional look) Choose one based on your genre and printing budget.
- Plan Your Page Count and Paper Average book: 100 – 300 pages. For novels and non-fiction, 80 gsm bond or cream paper works best. For journals or workbooks, 100 gsm or more gives better strength.
